Arlen’s journey in search of what it means to be a 20th century man of Armenian descent traced centuries of history in compelling descriptions, culminating in what many of us did not understand: Armenia was virtually exterminated. Very reader friendly, hard to put down, yet the gruesome details of the various massacres required me to stop and try to absorb the tragedy:highly recommended.
This book makes you think very hard about how the Armenians were & still are treated. Even in America there was a stigma of having an Armenian name as a child in the 1950's.

I am very happy with my purchase of "Passage to Ararat." This book has very nice illustration on the Armenian history throughout it's thousands of years old rich history and culture. It's a personal story of Arlen who travels to Armenia to find his roots. Very touching story of Armenian genocide survivors feelings and thing they want to forget.
Honest, balanced and heart breaking. Man is capable of acts worse than any beast in the jungle.
Really good quality for what I paid.. It arrived in great conditions, binding was great, no writing in it... I really needed this for my Into to Armenian Studies class! ðŸ˜
