Love Lindsay Sands with vampire stories and I'd course Hannnah Howell with her historical twist made this a very good read. Would I like to see more of the duo, you bet!
It was a good book. The only thing I don’t really like was how they wrote. It took a bit to understand and be able to read at my usual pace. I get that for some people it might make them more immersed but for me it was a hinderance. .
I was uncertain when I purchased the book as to what, exactly, it's format was. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized that it consisted of two intertwined stories by two different authors. I'm a big Hannah Howell fan, but I'd never read anything by Lynsay Sands. I was impressed by how well the two authors pulled it off. Though their styles are different, the stories mesh well. The personalities of the protagonists are also quite different, as is the way each couple is introduced to each other. The secondary characters in each story are also well developed and either quite appealing or they make very excellent, if stereotypical, villains. Easy to read in one sitting.
I hope there are more books in this series. Loved every wordThe Scott highland series is one I will re read over again in the future
Excellent book a must read and with each word that is read you really are hooked, what an excellent writer! I never want to miss a book in every series and I highly recommend this book and all books by this author! Fantastic book, you will not want to put it down, I know I didn't and I wanted more and I feel that you will also! Great, Great, Book!
Worth the read. A simple love stories with a believable storyline that warms the heart. Eva MacAdie character was humorous which lightened the storyline. I found myself snickering at her as she tried to become exceptional by her new husbands clan.
Action packed romance with a strong heroine, a vampire with a soft heart of gold, dedicated clan members and the traitorous young relative who wants to be number one.
